That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith-that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Romans 1:17įor in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Ephesians 3:16-17 And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.īehold, his soul is puffed up it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Acts 3:16Īnd his name-by faith in his name-has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly. Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well. Mark 10:52Īnd Jesus said to him, “Go your way your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” Healed by Faith James 5:14-16 Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.īut when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. And this is not your own doing it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9įor by grace you have been saved through faith. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” Saved by Faith John 3:16įor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Hebrews 11:6Īnd without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. By reading and listening to the following Bible verses about faith we can grow our faith in God.

We grow in faith as we meditate on God’s word, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:7). “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). If we put our faith in Jesus, we will be saved from the consequences of our sin. God’s greatest promise is that He will save His people from sin and death. We trust that God’s promises are true and believe that He will provide for those who seek Him. When we place our faith in God, we believe that God exists and is of noble character.
